Description

Havre is an experimental first person exploration game set inside a dynamic cylindrical world. Explore a different kind of gravity and trigger large scale climatic phenomenons to bring Havre back to life. The game is being developed by Le Chant du cygne and is intended to be released on Windows, Mac and Linux.

History

Havre started as the game around which Le Chant du cygne collective was created. It was then called Quartier Rouge and was very different from what it is today. The basic idea of wandering through a vast cylindrical world was already present but we did not grasp the importance of it and the many implications back then. Since the world itself is the main character we had to give it living organism properties, hence the simulation of a climatic world.

Features

  • A vast world within a cylinder.
  • A science-fiction video game adventure.
  • A dynamic world affected by large scale climatic phenomenons.
  • A unique cylindrical world with its own simulated gravity.
  • An unprecedented exploration of a vast and dynamic climatic world.
